A Christmas Experience

This afternoon we had visitors; two women and a man. My family seemed to love them though they all wore masks and no one hugged. They were all interested in meeting me but I was cautious and woofed at them. They were so nice and helped me feel more comfortable. Before they left I was friendly with them.

My parents gave me gifts today. I received two new benebones and a new fluffy bed. I especially like the bed!

This evening my family all went on a car trip. I wasn’t sure what was going on at first. My Mom opened the back of the SUV and seemed to want me to do something but I didn’t quite understand. My Dad opened the back door and Elvis jumped in. Next my Mom opened the driver’s door. I thought alright! I jumped into the driver’s seat but it was a bit tight behind the steering wheel so I jumped into the front passenger seat; much better. Penny jumped into the floor board on the driver’s side. Mom and Dad were talking to me but I didn’t understand. I liked it in the front seat.

Oh well. I finally understood and found my way to the back seat and shared it with my 2 canine siblings. Mom rolled back the roof cover on the vehicle so I could see the sky. Later she even opened the sky roof and lowered my window so I could smell everything around us.

All of a sudden, lights and music were all around us. It was a new experience. Vehicles that passed by seemed to enjoy waving and saying hello. It looked like they were seeing something unusual...

I loved the lights but they didn’t last very long till we were headed back home.

Tonight was so nice. I love my new bed and bones.
