My Canine Siblings

It’s time that I introduce all to my canine siblings, Elvis and Penny. Elvis is 11+ year old Maltese who is blind in one eye. He’s pretty chill and unless he’s in Dad’s lap he is accepting of me in the family.

Penny is a 3+ year old Pekingese spitfire. She’s food aggressive and just plain fussy when I get too close to her. She’s so small but when she is irritated, she runs toward me barking. I get out of her way.

just today, Penny started acting like she wants to get acquainted. Maybe soon we can run and play.

Elvis and Penny are odd. They bark on and on at the strangest times. I look around, sniff and listen for danger, but there’s nothing. Its annoying that I don’t understand their signals. Maybe soon they will let me know why they are barking so much. They always seem to be staring at the TV when the barking occurs but why?
